Process Injection Systems
Dense-Phase Injection into Pressurised & High-Temperature Processes
We design and supply advanced process injection systems for the controlled introduction of powders, granular and waste materials into pressurised reactors, smelters, gasifiers, furnaces, kilns and high-temperature processes, including submerged injection beneath the molten metal level.
Our injection technology ensures accurate, continuous, stable feed control, safe backpressure management, and reliable long-term operation in demanding industrial environments.
Our dense-phase injection technology can also be used for simultaneous multi-point injection.
What is Process Injection?
Process injection is the precise feeding of solid materials into a live, often pressurised process. Unlike standard pneumatic conveying, injection systems can:
- Overcome process backpressure
- Maintain continuous, stable and accurate feed rates
- Prevent backflow from the process
- Inject against high temperatures and pressures up to 30 barg
- Integrate seamlessly with plant control systems
Process Injection Applications
Our process injection systems are used in processes such as:
- Smelters/Converters: Ores, reverts, fluxes, metallurgical dusts, fuels and Electronic Scrap.
- Gasification and Pyrolysis Processes: Woody biomass, end-of-life plastics, and alternative waste feedstocks.
- Green Steelmaking: Feeding of Iron Ore into Direct Reduction Processes.
- High-temperature reactors: additive and sorbent injection.
- Combustion and thermal processes: PCI for Blast Furnaces, Carbon & Lime injection into EAFs.
- Energy and environmental systems.
We support projects involving biomass gasification, waste-to-energy, CO₂ reduction initiatives, hydrogen, and advanced thermal conversion processes.

Why Dense-Phase Injection?
Dense-phase pneumatic injection provides:
- Low conveying velocity (reduced wear)
- High solids loading
- Stable, repeatable feed rates
- Lower gas consumption
- Improved process efficiency
This makes it ideal for abrasive, fine, or difficult-to-inject materials in pressurised systems.
