This statement sets out the tax strategy of CLYDE in accordance with the requirements of Schedule 19 of the Finance Act 2016.
CLYDE is part of the wider Addtech AB group and is committed to managing its tax affairs responsibly, transparently, and in compliance with applicable laws.
Our Approach to Tax
We are committed to:
- Complying with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements;
- Maintaining accurate records and submitting tax returns on time;
- Paying the correct amount of tax at the appropriate time;
- Maintaining appropriate systems and controls to manage tax risks.
Tax Planning
We adopt a prudent approach to tax planning and seek to utilise tax reliefs and incentives only as intended by legislation and where aligned with genuine commercial activity.
We do not undertake artificial tax arrangements or structures lacking commercial substance.
Tax Risk Management
We maintain a low appetite for tax risk. Where tax matters are uncertain or complex, we seek advice from appropriately qualified advisers and engage with HM Revenue & Customs where appropriate.
Relationship with HMRC
We seek to maintain an open, professional, and constructive relationship with HMRC through timely filings, transparent communication, and cooperative engagement.
This strategy was approved by the Boards of Directors on 26 May 2026 and applies for the financial year ending 31 March 2027.
