The Clyde Dump Valve is designed to allow multiple hoppers or silos to be fed in series from a single pneumatic conveying pipeline. Operating in either "dump" or "by-pass" mode, the valve enables the control system to selectively discharge material into a chosen vessel while allowing the pipeline flow to continue to downstream delivery points.
One Dump Valve is installed at each delivery point along the conveying line, with the final discharge typically terminating in a Terminal Box. The automatic control system determines whether the valve opens to discharge material into the silo or remains closed, allowing the material to continue along the pipeline to the next destination.
This configuration provides a flexible, efficient method for distributing bulk materials to multiple storage silos via a single conveying line.
