The Clyde ROTOFeed is a heavy-duty, precision solids feeding and injection system for powders and granular materials, designed to deliver highly accurate, consistently controlled batch or continuous injection directly into a variety of industrial processes. It is widely used where reliable feeding of powders or granular materials into pressurised process environments is essential.
Material is discharged from a dispense vessel through the ROTOFeed unit, where a variable-speed drive controls the injection rate into the downstream injection pipeline. This controlled feeding capability ensures stable process operation and highly repeatable performance.
ROTOFeed technology is particularly suited for applications requiring accurate solids injection into processes such as blast furnaces, power boilers, smelters, and other high-temperature or high-pressure industrial processes.
Our injection technology can also be used for simultaneous multi-point injection.
ROTOFeed systems can inject materials over distances of up to 500 metres and into processes operating at pressures up to 30 barg, depending on application conditions.
